Yossi Benayoun has pledged his future to West Ham United after putting pen to paper on a new five-year deal.
Benayoun has looked as if he was on his way out of East London earlier in the year after falling out with manager ALan Curbishley after repreatedly coming home from international duty injured.
But following a run of good form Benayoun has perofrmed an about turn and signed a new deal thought to be worth in the region of £40,000 per week.
Talking to whufc.com this afternoon, Benayoun said:
"I'm very pleased to have agreed this new deal. From the first moment I arrived at West Ham, the Club felt like home to me. We have the best supporters in England.
"I'm very happy because I want to stay at this Club. I'm sure we'll have a better season next season because we have players with a lot of quality. We will also have new players coming in to make us stronger and better. I'm very pleased because it is the best place for me.
"The Chairman is very ambitious and I want to thank him because the negotiations were very quick. He and the manager showed me they wanted me to stay immediately. Hopefully I will pay them back on the pitch and I will do everything in my power to match their ambition."
Meanwhile it has been confirmed that goalkeeper Roy Carroll has left the club after being given a free transfer. Full-backs Paul Konchesky and John Pantsil have also had transfer requests accepted.

''Absolute blinder! I think this also shows that the club does at last show some long term ambition. Now ship out some of the wastrels, get shot of Reo-Coker, bring in Parker and we're starting to look good ...''

''Get in! Yossi is a quality player and can turn any defender inside out. Now all we need is Tevez. Come on Eggy!''
