West Ham find themselves a goal behind at the break in this afternoon's season-opener at The Boleyn.
A well-drilled City side lead at the break thanks to a goal from xxx.
City - under the tutelege of former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson - bossed the first 20 minutes and got their reward when xxx converted a low cross at the far post.
West Ham - playing in front of an expectant crowd - have failed to deliver thus far and will need to improve greatly in the scond half if they are to begin the campaign with anything other than a defeat.
We'll have more for you at the final whistle.
