Freddie Ljungberg has told his team mates to ignore the fear factor ahead of this afternoon's trip to The Emirates.
West Ham United - fresh from beating Manchester United at the weekend - face the Gunners later today in what will be Ljungberg's first return to Arsenal since completing his summer transfer to the Hammers. And the 30-year-old Swede - who is finally beginning to recapture the form that tempted Alan Curbishley to prise him from Arsenal - has told his team mates that they can repeat their 1-0 success of last season.
"The Emirates is a difficult place to go but West Ham were the only team to win there last season so we can try to do it again," he told whufc.tv. "We just need a bit more confidence in ourselves and not see them as the big club."
As for what will be an emotional return to the club with whom he won a number of trophies, Ljungberg added: "It'll be an amazing feeling to go back - but a bit weird at the same time as I was there for such a long time.
I have a problem with my hamstring so I hope that's going to be okay. But if I'm okay it'll be great to go back."
