Reprieve for Bow

Filed: Tuesday, 12th February 2008
By: Matthew O'Greel

Lee Bowyer has had his red card from Saturday's 1-1 draw with Birmingham rescinded.

The FA agreed to withdraw the caution given by match offical Mark Clattenburg for a challenge on Birmingham's Damien Johnson in the closing stages of Saturday's game, after the Hammers lodged an appeal.

Bowyer - who had faced an instant three match ban - is now eligible once again for the trip to Fulham on 23rd February.
