Today's Daily Mirror is linking United with moves for Newcastle's Steven Taylor and Everton's Andy Johnson.

The paper claimed this morning that Alan Curbishley is willing to part company with both Dean Ashton and Anton Ferdinand in order to fund moves for the duo.

Elsewhere Sunderland are being linked with out of favour Luis Boa Morte - with one paper claiming that the Black Cats are willing to pay up to 3m for the Portuguese winger - whilst Manchester United's Louis Saha has been linked with a return to London.
