Nigel Quashie looks set to complete a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers for the rest of the season.

The Championship title chasers have announced this lunchtime that Quashie, who has just returned to West Ham following three months on loan with Wolves' bitter rivals Birmingham is poised to complete a loan move to Molineux.

In a brief statement released on their website this lunchtime, Wanderers - who only last week took winger Kyel Reid on loan from the Hammers - said:

"Nigel is at the Compton training ground today with a view to completing a deal that will see him become the second loan arrival from Upton Park in the space of a week."

Lee Bowyer replaced Quashie at St Andrews last week when joining City on loan for the rest of the season, marking his debut at the weekend with a last minute goal.
