Frank Lampard made his full international debut yesterday in England's narrow 2-1 defeat of Belgium at Sunderland's Stadium of Light.
Despite getting a roasting from boss Kevin Keegan at half-time Frank gave a mature and cultured performance in the heart of England's midfield.Goals from Alan Shearer and Frank's cousin Jamie Redknapp won the day for England.
Frank follows in his father's footsteps as a full international; Frank Senior won two caps for England - one in 1973, the other in 1980. Hopefully Frank Junior won't have to wait so long to collect his next cap.
