West Ham United have been linked with a move for Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune.
The Sunday People claim that the Hammers have 'made a late bid' to beat Hull to the signature of the £2.5million-rated 27-year-old, who spent time on loan at West Brom last season. The paper adds that Wolves and Fulham are also interested.
The weekend's Mirror once again links the Hammers with a move for Inter's Mario Balotelli, even if quotes used in the story attributed to Gianfranco Zola seem to be somewhat old hat.
The Daily Star meanwhile ran with West Ham's purported interest in Manchester City outcast Felipe Caicedo, claiming that City want around £8million for the Ecuador international. Caicedo has been at Eastllands for just a year since joining from Swiss side Basle. The striker has also been linked with Portugal's Sporting Lisbon.
