Comedian and West Ham fan Russell Brand gave mainstream American TV an impromptu version of 'Bubbles' on the Jimmy Fallon show last night.

Brand - on the show to discuss his upcoming appearance as host of the MTV Awards - was asked to sing a West Ham song by host Fallon and opened with 'Over Land and Sea' before ending with a rendition of club anthem 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles'.

Grays-born Brand, who began his career as a stand-up comedian but shot to fame as host of Big Brother's Big Mouth on Channel 4 described the song as 'a football song full of pathos and inner sadness'. Click play below to view the full interview.
