Singer Katy Perry wowed the MTV European audience last night with a specially designed West Ham United basque.
Perry - currently dating Grays-born celebrity Hammer Russell Brand - sported the outfit at the European Music Awards after being dared to do so by Brand.
The singer - who wore a number of outfits throughout the night - stunned the audience with the two-piece outfit complete with a claret ribbon and the word 'Rusty' - which is apparently Perry's nickname for Brand - emblazoned upon her derriere.
Brand, writing on Twitter this morning said: "Wow. Now my girlfriend has worn a West Ham basque while hosting the EMAs. What a day! I might revive Gandhi and ask if he wants to be mates.
"Yes I will be taking her to a game - West Ham v Everton. And, before it begins, no I won't be taking her up the Arsenal."
