Danny Collins' first goal for the club secured what could prove to be an invaluable point come the end of the season.

With the Hammers staring at defeat following Luciano Becchio's 83rd minute header, Collins struck with just 45 seconds of normal time remain to earn a precious point for Sam Allardyce's men.

However it wasn't enough to prevent the Hammers falling FIVE points behaind leaders Southampton, who scraped a 3-2 win at Millwall with two goals in the last five minutes - and THREE behind Reading, who continued their incredible run of form with a 4-0 win at Barnsley.
