Pape Moussa Konaté, Senegal's leading goalscorer at the Olympic Games has told West Ham to "show how much they love me".
The 19-year-old striker, who has taken the Games' football competition by storm having scored four goals in the three group games thus far, has been linked with a move to London within the past few days.
And according to the Maccabi Tel Aviv forward, it's a potential move that interests him greatly.
Speaking after Senegal's 1-1 draw with the United Arab Emirates tonight that sent his country through to the next round the competition, Konaté said: "I hope I can move to the Premier League; hopefully I will get the chance. I hope my agent can fix something for me.
"There is talk of interest from West Ham and that would make me very happy, but that they must do more. West Ham have to show how much they love me."
Also linked with a move to east London overnight are Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva, a 23-year-old central midfielder and 26-year-old Colombian midfielder Carlos Sanchez, who goes by the nickname 'La Roca' (The Rock).
Meanwhile the French media are once again linking the Hammers with long-term target Yannick Sagbo, who reportedly told reporters: "If I move to England it would be to West Ham; I like the English game, the full stadiums and the attacking play."

''Rather give him a go than ALL that money for Carroll. He's young and eager and will not cost our entire budget.''

''If he does as well as Freddie Kanoute
or Demba Ba he will be more than popular but he will have to prove he's up to it.''

''While delighted at transfer speculation, I am totally perplexed at the money being spoke about for Andy Carroll, a player who is unproven. The way we are going this squad is top heavy, we need back up in the full back area plus Premier League centre-half experience as well as Collins. Also, Henderson is an unknown at Premier League level, Jussi's best days are gone. Why haven't we pushed for Robinson?''

''Sam has to buy this fella, he's full of potential and think they would love him at the Boleyn Ground. I would buy his team mate Ba as well. Up the Hammmers.''

''Some good players getting a look into, if Konate thinks we want him so much why hasn't there been any conformation of it from WHU? Would like to get him though :-)''

''I kind of have a crush on Sam Baldock still. I'm sure this Senegalese fella would show how much he loves another team should he ever sign and do well.''
