Christmas party fund-raiser

Readers of KUMB are cordially invited to attend a fund-raising evening for a young West Ham supporter who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Wes Cullinane, who is just 20, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a type of lymphoma that is often linked with young people.

And a group of kind-hearted fellow fans are holding what they describe as a "proper West Ham knees-up" in order to raise funds for CLIC Sargent, the children's charity who have provided support for Wes.

On Saturday, 22nd December a Christmas Party Fund-Raising Night is being held at the Rush Green Stadium, Romford, which has a full-licensed bar (the owners have kindly donated the venue for free).

Featuring a disco and raffle plus much more, tickets for the night are priced at just £10 for adults, £15 for couples and £20 for families - that's two adults and two kids.

To purchase tickets for the evening and support not only a worthwhile cause but a fellow Hammer, please contact either Jim on 0797 693 6239 or Dennis, on 0770 362 9100.

For more information on CLIC Sargent and the tireless work they do to help children with life-threatening diseases, visit their website.
