West Ham Utd v Reading: live

Filed: Sunday, 19th May 2013
By: Staff Writer

West Ham have the opportunity to seal a top ten Premier League finish when they face an already-relegated Reading at the Boleyn Ground this afternoon.

Depending on results both at the BG and elsewhere today, the Irons can mathematically finish anywhere between 9th and 15th - but realistically, a draw should be enough to clinch 11th at worst whilst a win would guarantee 10th spot (with a Swansea defeat plus a nine-goal swing required to wrestle 9th place for the Welsh team).

For those unable to attend the match in person, live updates from Upton Park will be provided throughout the afternoon on our forum match thread, which may be found here: www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=147636.

Meanwhile any live video streams will be listed in our 2012/13 season streaming thread at www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=141602. As always, you use these at your own peril.

KUMB.com will, as always, bring you a match summary at the final whistle, with the thoughts of both Sam Allardyce and Nigel Adkins to follow this evening/tomorrow morning - and those of the opposition fans thereafter.

Meanwhile - if you've not already done so - why not check out Preview Percy's match preview, which provides a humourous look at this afternoon's fixture plus all the vital facts and stats you'll need ahead of the game: www.kumb.com/article.php?id=3223.
