More outward movement as deadline draws closer

Jordan Spence has completed a return to MK Dons on loan for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old full back, who looks destined to leave West Ham this summer having once again failed to make an impact on the first team is heading back to the League One club where he spent some time earlier in the season.

In other transfer news this morning, West Ham's plans to line up former Leeds winger Max Gradel as a potential deadline day arrival are understood to have hit complications. Having flown to London for talks last night, the 26-year-old is reported to have failed to agree terms with the Hammers and is set to return to France should a compromise not be reached.

West Ham's plans to lure Manchester City's Joleon Lescott to the Boleyn Ground are fading fast although the Hammers retain hopes of pushing through a late deal. Going the other way could be Mo Diame, with Queens Park Rangers now rumoured to be lining up an eleventh-hour move for the troubled midfielder.
