Knees up Mother Brown are delighted to announce that this week's KUMB Awards raised over £600 for The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.

With ticket sales exceeding expectations - plus further donations taken from collection tins on the night - we were able to donate well in excess of £4 from every (£10) ticket purchased to the charity.

Graeme Howlett, Editor of KUMB.com said: "I am delighted to be able to make this contribution to The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK, one of the UK's most respected charities, on behalf of our readers.

"All profits from Tuesday evening's KUMB Awards Live! show will go to the fund, which has been our charity of choice for many years. We are proud to be able to support the efforts of this most worthy organisation."

The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK was set up in memory of West Ham United's greatest son following his untimely death in 1993 at the age of just 51.

Bowel cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK, accounting for around 10 per cent of all cancer-related deaths. 54 per cent of those are males, according to recent statistics.
