Enner Valencia's protracted transfer to West Ham United should be completed with seven days.
That's according to co-owner David Gold, who hinted at the time scale when answering a question set by supporter @BenCarter via his Twitter feed earlier today.“@BenCarter_: @davidgold how is valencia's work permit looking?
Hopefully it will be issued early next week. dg

Valencia revealed last week that he had signed a five-year contract with West Ham. It is hoped that he will join up with the first team squad in time for their trip to Germany to partake in the Schalke Cup, which begins on August 2.
News of Andy Carroll's latest injury means that West Ham will be desperate to complete the capture of the Ecuador international, who shot to prominence during the World Cup Finals during which he scored three times for his country during the group phase.
However KUMB understands that Valencia is also currently injured and failed to fully complete his recent medical - although the extent of the injury is rather less serious than Andy Carroll's latest assessment suggests his could be.
