Out-of-favour midfielder Ravel Morrison is poised to join Championship side Cardiff on loan, according to the Telegraph.
Morrison, who last started a first team game against Sheffield United in the Capital One Cup a month ago has largely been out of contention since the influx of new players at the club during the summer transfer window.Talks over a potential loan move are said to have taken place today between West Ham and the Championship strugglers, who are currently under the temporary care of former Hammer Danny Gabbidon following the recent departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Bluebirds are said to be seeking an 'option to buy' as part of any deal whilst West Ham are reported to be keen on inserting a recall clause.
Morrison - whose only other appearance for the Hammers this season was in the 3-1 defeat to Southampton - spent the latter half of last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers, who decided against attempting to make the deal permanent upon their promotion to the Premier League.
Since moving to West Ham from Manchester United in January 2012, Morrison has made 17 starts in a total of 24 appearances for the club.
