Heather Paddon - daughter of former Hammer Graham Paddon - has made a moving film dedicated to the life of her father.

Young film-maker Heather created the 19-minute short in memory of her former professional footballer father, who died at the age of 57 when she was just 16 years old.

The film encompasses Paddon's entire professional career as a player at Coventry, Norwich and West Ham and brutally exposes the devastating effects alcohol addiction, which eventually cost him his life, can have on a family.

Paddon, who spent three successful seasons at the Boleyn Ground between 1973 and 1976 was a member of West Ham's FA Cup-winning team of 1975 - the last team to win the Cup comprised entirely of English players.

He was also part of the side beaten 4-2 in the 1976 Cup Winners Cup Final by Anderlecht.

Signed by Ron Greenwood from Norwich for £170,000 plus Ted McDougall, Paddon made an impressive 150 appearances for the Hammers before re-joining the Canaries for £110,000 a matter of months after West Ham's CWC defeat.
