Jack Collison has told Sky Sports that he would not be averse to joining MK Dons on a permanent contract next season.

The former Hammers, who was the star guest on the KUMB Podcast two weeks ago revealed this morning that he had been in talks with the League One side, who earlier this week took on another former Hammer, striker Rob Hall.

"The rumour of MK Dons is quite a nice one because they are right on my doorstep and hopefully they will be playing Championship football next year," he said. "Karl Robinson has done a fantastic job and if you are looking for a midfielder, then I am here.

"I have had my fair share of injuries, I am at the point in my career where I am experienced enough and know my body well enough to say ‘right I have to take a bit of time out the game’, even though it’s frustrating watching everyone play and thinking I would love to be out there kicking a ball about.

"I took a bit of extra time and I am going to look to go back in at the start of next season."
