Cole, who has been with the club since 2006 when he was signed from Chelsea in a £2million deal was close to joining West Bromwich Albion back in January but saw a deadline day move fail as he was forced to return to West Ham.
On behalf of everyone at Knees up Mother Brown, we'd like to thank Carlton for his service and wish him the very best of luck for the future.
