West Ham target Andre Pierre Gignac is set to snub the chance to work in the Premier League - in favour of a move to Mexico.

According to Get French Football (via Le Aficion), 29-year-old Gignac has rejected a number of offers from European clubs - including at least two from the Premier League - in order to join Mexican side Tigres.

In addition to West Ham, Gignac - who is currently in Cancun on holiday - has also been linked with a move to West Brom this week. Southampton, Newcastle and Stoke are also said to have expressed their interest in signing the Marseille forward.

West Ham have already spawned the opportunity to sign Gignac's former team mate Andre Ayew this week. The 25-year-old midfielder signed for Swansea on a free transfer yesterday.
