New Hammers signing Pedro Obiang gave fans a glimpse of what they can look forward to next season when he scored a 25-yard beauty during training this week.

Obiang, a £4.5million signing from Sampdoria last month is one of several first team squad members who have been training at West Ham's training camp in Cork during the past few days.

And watching supporters were given a tantalising taste of the former Spanish Under 21 international's undoubted talent when he left the goalkeeper flat-footed with a superb curling effort, which you may see below.

Obiang became the club's first signing since Slaven Bilic's appointment was confirmed at the beginning of June.

Having began his career with local club Athletico Madrid he moved to Italy in 2008 to join Sampdoria, for whom he made in excess of 100 first team appearances prior to his move to east London.
