Frank Lampard has claimed Chelsea supporters display more loyalty to their club than West Ham supporters.
Lampard, who once said that he'd never play for another Premier League club after Chelsea - a matter of months before he signed for title rivals Manchester City - hit out at Hammers fans once again as he staged a Q&A with Chelsea fans.Asked what it was that typified being a Chelsea supporter, Lampard replied: "From my personal experience, once you're part of Chelsea it's with you forever.
"I think they're loyal. I remember when I was playing at West Ham and at one stage they were probably booing about five players from our own team.
"I cant remember many of the players that our fans have stood there and booed. Torres having a difficult time, Shevchenko having a difficult time. Week after week the fans got behind them.
"There's a class about the club and I know sometimes people try to give Chelsea fans a bit of a bashing for certain reasons, and I'm always the first one to stand up."
Earlier this week Chelsea banned four supporters from Stamford Bridge for life, following a racist incident in Paris in which a black man was refused entry on to a Metro train by white Chelsea fans.
Joshua Parsons, William Simpson, Jordan Munday and Richard Barklie followed Dean Callis, who has already been banned by the club from visiting Stamford Bridge for five years.
