Beer-free Bournemouth awaits travelling fans

Bournemouth have confirmed that no alcohol will be sold inside the stadium bars during this evening's Premier League clash with West Ham.

Due to an ongoing issue with the local Council, the Cherries have confirmed that supporters will be unable to purchase alcoholic refreshments once inside the ground.

"Due to a licensing matter AFC Bournemouth advises supporters that there will be no alcohol available in the stand concourse bars at the game against West Ham United on Tuesday 12th January," read a statement on the club's website.

"In addition, there will be no alcohol sales in the 1910 Bar. The club has worked with the Council and Dorset Police to resolve this matter and sales of alcohol will resume for our game against Norwich City on Saturday."

Which is great news for fans of Bournemouth - not so the contingent of Hammers fans travelling to the South Coast tonight.
