Poyet contract cancelled 'by mutual consent'

Young midfielder Diego Poyet has been allowed to leave West Ham on a free transfer.

The combative midfielder briefly featured for the first team during last season's Europa League qualifying rounds but failed to make an impact.

Subsequently Poyet spent most of the season on loan at MK Dons and former club Charlton Athletic, from whom he joined the Hammers in 2014. His four-year contract has been cancelled by mutual agreement.




In other deadline day transfer news, Doneil Henry has joined Danish Superliga outfit AC Horsens on a season-long loan.

The Canadian centre half, 23, was brough into the club by Sam Allardyce on the recommendation of former Blackburn player Ryan Nelsen during the January 2015 transfer window bu tsimilarly failed to make an impact.




Finally, young forward Luca Belic has joined Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on loan until the beginning of January.

The 20-year-old barely featured for the Development Squad last season and will be hoping to resurrect his career north of the border.
