Drinks manufacturer Red Bull have denied they are interested in purchasing West Ham United.
A report in a tabloid newspaper this morning carried an 'exclusive' in which it was claimed the caffeine-based drink company were interested in expanding their reach into the Premier League, with West Ham being targeted. However those reports were dismissed by the Austrian company, who refuted the claims this evening - and by a spokesman for West Ham, who insisted they had received no contact from Red Bull.
David Sullivan and David Gold have always insisted they have no desire to sell the club, which they purchased seven years ago next month from Icelandic administrators Straumur.
Red Bull's football experiment has seen them take over German club RB Leipzig, home side Red Bull Salzburg, the New York Red Bulls and Red Bull Brasil who are based in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
