Trio back in training

Filed: Monday, 17th July 2017

Winston Reid, Michail Antonio and Diafra Sakho have all returned to training - although Andy Carroll remains sidelined through injury.

The trio were all involved in individual training sessions at the club's Bad Waltersdorf training complex this morning, a matter of hours ahead of United's first pre-season test against Sturm Graz.

And Sakho - who featured in just two matches last season - even stopped behind after the rest of the squad had retreated to their quarters to undergo extra training, as he bids to return to full fitness ahead of the 2017/18 season opener at Manchester United next month.

Carroll, who has flown to Austria with the squad but is yet to take part in any kind of training was present at the complex along with the rest of the team, where he happily signed autographs for the small group of watching supporters.

Meanwhile Angelo Ogbonna, who missed the latter half of last season through injury is also back in full training, where he looked just fine alongside his tgeam mates.

Sturm Graz vs West Ham kicks off at 5.30pm BST and is being broadcast live on Premier Sports. The match is also being streamed live on YouTube.
