Wanderers boss Phil Parkinson was philosophical in defeat as he watched his Championship side slide out of the Carabao Cup following defeat against West Ham at the OS tonight.

The Bolton boss admitted that his side were no match on the night for the Hammers, who won the game with two first half goals and a scorcher from Arthur Masuaku in the final minute of added-on time.
