Brazil legend Pele has paid the ultimate compliment to late West Ham and England captain Bobby Moore – by saying he was so good, he was like a Brazilian.

In an exclusive interview with Blowing Bubbles Monthly magazine, the three-time World Cup winner and lifelong friend of Moore paid tribute to West Ham’s legendary number six.

“Bobby Moore was a great player, a talented player and I kept telling people ‘look at this guy, he’s like a Brazlian,’ said the 76-year-old.

“He was a very nice guy, and I always compare him with the likes of Beckenbauer and Cruyff. I wish we had more players like him, because we don’t at the moment.”

Read more of the great man’s opinions on topics including playing alongside Moore in legendary film Escape to Victory, what he thinks of Cristiano Ronaldo, and football freestylers, only in the latest edition of Blowing Bubbles.
