It has been confirmed that NO Premier League matches will take place on Christmas Eve.

That means West Ham's clash with Newcastle will still take place at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday, 23 December - which in itself presents a potential logistical nightmare, with the nearly Westfield shopping centre preparing for one of its busiest Saturdays of the year on the same day.
As a result, three of West Ham's remaining December fixtures have been moved for the benefit of the TV companies. They are as follows:
Sunday 3 December: Manchester City v West Ham Utd (4pm)
Saturday 9 December: West Ham Utd v Chelsea (12.30pm)
Wednesday 13 December: West Ham Urtd v Arsenal (8pm)
United's other pre-Xmas December fixture - the trip to Stoke City on Saturday, 16 December - remains unchanged with a 3pm kick off. The Hammers then travel to Bournemouth on Boxing Day before visiting Tottenham on Saturday, 30 December for the final match of 2017.
