Pre-match press conference: Mark Hughes vs West Ham Utd [video]

Filed: Friday, 15th December 2017
By: Staff Writer

Under-pressure Stoke boss Mark Hughes admitted that his team desperately need a win against West Ham this weekend.

Four defeats in their last five games - including a 5-1 thrashing at Tottenham last weekend and a narrow defeat against Burnley in midweek - have left the Potters looking over their shoulder at the teams below them, including West Ham.

Yet Hughes felt that his team had been playing reasonably well of late and had shown plenty of "desire and commitment", whilst claiming that recent results hadn't "told the full story" of City's season so far.

See what Hughes had to say about tomorrow's vital clash in his pre-match press conference below.
