West Ham's Premier League status has been all but guaranteed thanks to a comfortable win at the King Power Stadium this afternoon.

Goals from Joao Mario and club captain Mark Noble secured United's third away win of the season - an absolutely priceless victory, given the stakes.

West Ham - who dominated the entire opening 45 minutes - capitalised on their superiority when the on-loan Portuguese midfielder fired home from close range to put David Moyes' side ahead 11 minutes shy of the interval.

And Noble secured a huge three points midway through the second half when he produced the volley of a lifetime from 20 yards out to double West Ham's advantage.

The win takes West Ham six points clear of the relegation zone and should Southampton lose this evening, United's safety will be confirmed.
