A motion asking whether the West Ham United Supporters Club should be dissolved has been passed.

Amid farcical scenes at The Boleyn pub this lunchtime, a vote in favour of closing the Supporters Club was carried with 18 votes in favour and six against.

However more than FIFTY registered members who attempted to attend the Special General Meeting - the vast majority of whom were expected to vote AGAINST the club's dissolution - were refused entry, on condition that they paid for their membership via Paypal.

And as a result of the low numbers who participated in the poll, the result was considered by the Executive Committee - who were responsible for denying entry to supporters - to be an "advisory" vote only.

Those supporters who were denied entrance to the Supporters Club SGM reconvened in the Queens, where it was decided that further action would be taken against the Executive Committee's plans to close the club.

"This, in view of the actions from the existing committee members who clearly have an agenda, was extremely positive," wrote KUMB moderator Steve Barlow, who was present at the meeting/s.

"A united front in terms of progressing and continuing the presence of a supporters club is in place. Some enlightening information was divulged and the support coming from the club was particularly heartening."
