Whitlock Jr is a Hammer!

One of the stars of TV show The Wire has revealed himself to be a West Ham United supporter.

American actor Isiah Whitlock Jr. may be well known for starring as corrupt state senator Clay Davis in the popular TV series that ran for five seasons in the noughties, but it also transpires that he happens to have a soft spot for the mighty Hammers!

Whitlock, who is currently starring in Netflix series The Good Cop and is set to feature in three films this year - All Square, The Old Man & The Gun and Lost Holiday - tweeted the following message on Sunday afternoon, shortly after Marko Arnautovic scored the last of West Ham's three goals at Goodison Park...

The popular actor, who has also starred in films such as Goodfellas, the 2016 remake of Pete's Dragon and various Spike Lee movies is also responsible for Kickstarter's most successful 'bobblehead' crowdfunder ever, having raised more thn $100,000 for his talking 'nodders'.

However as far as we are aware, 64-year-old Whitlock has never visited the Boleyn Ground or the Olympic Stadium.
