Met Police have confirmed that there are no special plans in place for this weekend's big London derby between West Ham and Tottenham.

Although the fixture has been marred in recent years by various unsavoury incidents, match commander Jo Edwards has confirmed that they are not treating this weekend's meeting with any particular caution.

Whilst Police say they have no intelligence of any planned disorder, the fixture is still being considered as a Category C fixture which usually represents high-risk events such as major local derbies (the only higher grade is C+).

Tottenham have been allocated circa 3,000 tickets for Saturday's Premier League meeting, all of which have been sold. They have also taken the full allocation of 4,800 for the forthcoming Carabao Cup clash on 31 October.

West Ham will have 35 part-time Supporter Liaison Officers on site this Saturday to assist supporters arriving at the stadium, which will be open from 1.30pm.

It has also been confirmed that concourse TVs will be switched on from opening time, allowing those arriving at Stratford early to catch the second half of the Chelsea v Manchester Utd match.
