West Ham United have confirmed that they will not be producing a season review DVD for the 2017/18 season.
Much to the disappointment of supporters, many of whom maintain an annually-updated library of West Ham's campaigns, West Ham say that there will be no DVD released for last season due to a lack of interest.Collected and enjoyed by many, but there will be no 2017/18 DVD
Writing in response to an enquiry from a supporter earlier this week, a West Ham Store employee revealed the bad news. "Owing to the current low demand for the DVD, there are no plans to release the DVD review for the 2017/18 season," they said.
The decision to pull production of the DVD means 2017/18 will be the first season since the club were relegated eight years ago in 2010/11 that they have failed to produce an annual season review.
West Ham ended the 2017/18 season 13th in the Premier League with a total of 42 points. The season was mostly notable for the sacking of Slaven Bilic and the first on-pitch protest by West Ham supporters for 25 years, during the 3-0 defeat against Burnley in March.
