A brace from Marko Arnautovic and a first ever Premier League goal for Ryan Fredericks ensured the Hammers ended their home campaign on a high against Southampton.

The Austrian struck in the 16th minute to give West Ham a 1-0 half time lead, before doubling his tally and United's advantage after 69 minutes.

And when the in-form full back added a third for Manuel Pellegrini's side, it was no more than the Hammers deserved for producing an entertaining performance, one that largely typified a season in which the home form has been much improved on the previous two in Stratford.
