Fulham - relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season - will host a pre-season friendly against West Ham at Craven Cottage this July.

One of the most keenly-awaited away fixtures last season is set to be repeated this summer, despite the south west London side having fallen through the Premier League's trap door earlier this month.

The two sides are scheduled to meet in what will almost certainly prove to be West Ham's penultimate pre-season friendly on Saturday, 27 July (3pm kick off) - and no doubt many visiting Hammers fans will travel to the game via the River Thames, as has been the case in recent seasons.

The match is just the latest fixture to be added to West Ham's pre-season fixture list, which currently looks as follows:

11 July: SCR Altach (a) CASHPOINT Arena, Altach (5.30pm)

17 July: Manchester City (n) Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre (8.30pm)

20 July: Wolves or Newcastle (n) Hongkou Stadium, Shanghai (6pm or 8.30pm)

27 July: Fulham (a) Craven Cottage (3pm)

The 2019/20 Premier League season commences on Saturday, 10 August - meaning that West Ham have one more weekend (3/4 August) on which to arrange the now traditional pre-season showcase friendly. Serie A side Lazio have already been heavily suggested as a potential opponent.
