West Ham are being linked with a move for Millwall goalkeeper David Martin.

The 33-year-old stopper is out of contract this summer at the New Den, despite having been offered new terms by the League One club.

However fresh reports (South London Press) suggest that West Ham are considering making Martin an offer to become the club's new number two, with Adrian - Lukasz Fabianski's current deputy - out of contract this summer.

The son of former Hammer Alvin Martin, David - who was born in Romford - has spent the last two seasons at Millwall following spells with Milton Keynes Dons and Liverpool, where he spent four seasons without making a single first team appearance.

Standing at 6'1" tall, Martin represented England at all youth levels from Under 16 to Under 19. He briefly spent time at West Ham during his teenage years whilst seeking a professional club to join.
