West Ham United's proposed Boxing Day home fixture with Brighton & Hove Albion has been rescheduled for 24 hours later.

It's been seven years since the Hammers last enjoyed a home fixture on 26 December - that being a 3-1 defeat against Arsenal back in 2013.

And the Irons will have to wait for another 12 months, at least, after it was confirmed that the home match against The Seagulls had been moved to the 2:15pm slot the following day (27 December).

That is just one of SIX fixtures in the final month of 2020 that have been moved at the behest of the TV broadcasters, with West Ham's December schedule now looking as follows:

Saturday 5 December: Manchester Utd (h) 5:30pm

Friday 11 December: Leeds Utd (a) 8:00pm

Wednesday 16 December: Crystal Palace (h) 8:00pm

Monday 21 December: Chelsea (a0 8:00pm

Sunday 27 December: Brighton & Hove Albion (h) 2:15pm

Tuesday 29 December: Southampton (a) 6:00pm

The Manchester Utd, Leeds Utd, Chelsea, Brighton are being carried by Sky Sports, whilst Amazon will be broadcasting the Crystal Palace and Southampton fixtures.

Every remaining Premier League game in 2020 is being broadcast live, after the decision to implement a pay-per-view system was overturned following an outcry from football supporters around the country.
