Hammers fans will have one final chance to see Mark Noble's play at the London Olympic Stadium after the current season has ended.

The retiring club captain is set to make an emotional farewell appearance in Stratford for the Hammers this coming weekend, when United host Manchester City in their final home game of the campaign.

Yet it has been confirmed that Noble will return for one final hurrah once the season has culminated, after it was confirmed he will feature for England in next month's Soccer Aid event.

The one-off match, in which England face a Rest of the World XI, is being hosted at the LOS for the first time in its history. And Noble, who celebrated his 35th birthday last week has been included as part of Harry Redknapp's squad.

“I was touched when Soccer Aid for UNICEF invited me to play for England,” said Noble. “Playing for your country is the greatest honour for any professional athlete – and Sunday 12 June will be no different for me, or for my kids who are big Soccer Aid fans!

"Add to that the fact this is for such a special cause and I can’t wait to run out in front of 60,000 fans at the London Stadium one last time. It will be an emotional day for sure, but I want you all to share it with me.

“Of course, this isn’t about me though – it’s about raising as much money for UNICEF as we possibly can. That was £13million last year and we want to go beyond that this summer. The match is well on its way to being sold out, so buy your tickets now and support this great cause.”

There will be considerable West Ham interest in the Three Lions team, with the Canning Town-born Hammer being joined by Joe Cole, David James and Teddy Sheringham in his squad.

Celebrities already confirmed to feature include Sir Mo Farah, who also has considerable history with the stadium following his 2012 Olympics exploits and One Direction's Liam Payne.

Amongst those featuring for the opposition - which will be managed by Arsene Wenger this year - are former sprinter Usain Bolt who captains the team, Cafu and Ukranian star Andriy Shevchenko.
