Re: Things you've always wanted to know......

There's an app Knobwipe that you can download for these kind of problems. KnobwipeX1 is out of date now, but KnobwipescreenX2 is compatible with Windows 10. Thank me later.

Wipe with MacAfee is no longer working.

They used to do the odd 'romantic' song too. I give you; She's as Hot as a Docker's Armpit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4_wc6jbqus Had talks with (ageing!) Budgie fans over the years, and it was put to me that one reason they couldn't fit in with NWOBHM was that Burke was, at heart, a Soul Music...

Anyway, he got distracted and moved on to someone else but it was all a bit odd - or not, given the Club's previous.
Probably a Temp 'jobsworth' trying on his jacket. When his little moment passed he moved on.

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-2024

Couldn't Boris have claimed that the people attending his working soiree were part of his support bubble? Had a look at a CPS site and (of 1,200 covid-related prosecutions) that was the defence of the only exemplified 'partying' prosecution. 6,500 prosecutions in total in lockdown #1 but these inclu...

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-2024

Most interesting aspect of PMQ today will be how the Conservatives manage to castigate Johnson for credibility's sake whilst not giving any ground to the opposition. There's so much riding on this.

Burke Shelley RIP

Sad news for anyone who followed Budge. Met him a few times when getting backstage early 70's. Nice guy and very patient with teeny-followers and their stoopid questions!
