Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

Yep, if we'd beaten Leeds it wouldn't look so bad. I'm still not sure why Moyes played a full strength team vs Norwich and again the same team vs Leeds. And then talks about mental and physical fatigue whilst leaving the central midfielder he scouted all summer on the bench whilst Lanzini chased sh...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

It is a little bit concerning if we really can't identify one defender or striker but I'm sure we must have a few lined up as we get nearer deadline day.

I didn't mind the Clem Fandango disguised as a Klingon stuff but the rest of Discovery has been awful.

I dropped it about 2 episodes into season 3.

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-2024

Our PM telling us nobody told him he was breaking the rules. What leadership... If the saner members of his party haven't chased him out of Number 10 by this time next week then abandon all hope. The only deflection the usual right wing frothers on social media have is to pile on that Covid rule bre...

Re: The BBC

Spot on Tenners. If those on the right think that the BBC is anti-government Lord only knows what they think of the likes of Sky. Sky give the government multiple times the kick in that the Beeb have given it in recent years. Totally agree...BBC and Kussenburg let Johnson tickle their tummies compa...

Why on earth would Thorpe share that video? He seemingly can't coach batsmen for toffee so no great loss when he probably gets let go.

And didn't The Tory bastards just cut Universal Credit by £20 per week ?

That would have paid for a TV Licence and more .

But yeah , they care about Pensioners .
All that gumph from Dorries about hard working familes and protecting pensioners...pull the other one.

That’s the sort of crap managers say just before they anihilate your department and move on somewhere else before anyone above them notices. Anyway, ‘can’ is the key word in your phrase and a get out clause. Because compared to the amount of times when less turns out, surprise, surprise to actually...

Also started Get Back. Never been a huge Beatles guy but it really is absolutely fascinating. Surprised at how passive Lennon is at this point - like he’s more or less going through the motions. It’s pretty much ‘Paul McCartney and the Beatles’. McCartneys undeniable talent and seemingly genuine en...

Nadine Dorris (of all people) banging on about hard working familes, protecting pensioners etc and the license fee. Pull the other one... When Operation Save Big Dogs has come up with a new 3 word slogan that he can remember?

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

It is really difficult. His run is perfect if the ball doesn't deflect. Once it does, it is a tough one and chesting with any control is tough unless you are Ibra. 99 times out of 100 that ball bobbles over the line off his chest. The deflection stopped him being able to head it so he had to improv...

Re: Cricket English Summer 2021 + Ashes

Galling thing is that Warner, Smith and to a lesser extent Labushagne had pretty average series yet nearly everyone around them stepped up. Green looks like he could be a genuinely all time great all rounder, Khawaja comes in and scores a ton and Boland makes debut and we make him look like Mcgrath ...
