Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

That australian tour was a waste of time beat a team of wallabies and some team from perth ! a week wasted . should have had a training camp in europe and a few friendlies against decent sides. when we did we got stuffed by rennes and Bayer Lev . They are the level of opposition we need to have and...

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

‘Butt hurt’ is a stupid phrase to begin with, however, nothing to do that, he’s just a bit cr*p now and we really should be looking at better, younger players at this stage! I think it was on here that I learned the phrase and really like it. As others have mentioned, there's no reason why Lingard ...

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

Totally agree. Sets double standards and Moyes needs a big kick in the proverbials if he allows this parasite to sign any sort of contract. I don't care if there was a crystal ball available and he scored a 100 goals next season. No way do you allow this feeble excuse to be anywhere near the club. ...

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

You do know that at the last minute on Friday Moyes had second thoughts on JWP (one of his insistent prime targets) in the hope of persuading McTominay to join instead? the machinations can work in many, almost all unfathomable directions it seems, let’s hope it doesn’t blunt JWPs enthusiasm to be ...

Lingard got no league goals or assists last season. Played 4x as many minutes as Lanzini.
Did he not shin the assist for Forests winner against......West Ham?

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

I really doubt that, I remember it standing out to me how classy he was after the final whistle, the way he singled out Emerson to celebrate with him. More to this one than meets the eye I really don't think there is. Seems like he just wants to move on to be closer to home or get some more regular...

Re: Freddie Potts

Well we've got a manager, not the first one in recent times though, who doesn't seem to trust the young players. So they go elsewhere to get a game. And as you say that is a real shame. If that continues it will be especially galling as our academy side did so well last season. Might be different t...

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma

Terrible, terrible luck for us to have lost both first choice CBs to the same long term injury - what are the chances?! Even worse for Zouma himself having already battled back from a really nasty knee injury previously. No Alese, Baptiste or Ashby in the U23 match squad today - I would think these ...

Re: Ben Johnson

He's starting to show why he was the one standing in Ngakia's way, and why the latter refused the new contract in 2020. He's been really hampered by injury so far in his short career (something that led to Ngakia getting his chance in the first place) but now, with injuries to others while he stays ...

Re: Michail Antonio

I absolutely love that the goal that set him on his way to the record was the most ridiculous stumble and deflection having had the ball smashed against his barnet!

It shows how far he's come from those days when he was still quite raw - he's a totally different beast now.

The American stuff is legit as the league makes them publish it for salary cap reasons but the football stuff on that site is guesswork and rumour. https://www.spotrac.com/epl/west-ham-united-fc/payroll/ Declan Rice - £3k a week. Look at his lifestyle when he posts on Instagram. That man is not on ...

Re: Takeover talk

Last day of season ticket renewal + poor take up = renewal extension + investment “story” ??????????? This was my first thought too. It's nonsense in that I doubt anyone is going to renew their ST based on some ropey takeover rumour, but it's the exact level of contempt that G&S(&B) hold fo...
