Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
I've seen big European nights at Anfield when Liverpool have taken a bit of a mauling in the first leg and have had to overturn quite big first leg deficits, but they were always in with a chance of success through sheer self belief and the Anfield crowd intimidating the other team. They have done i...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
Im not saying they would have won but the fact that they got rid of two perfectly adequate midfielders and bought no one is a big part of why they will go out. Even if Moyes wanted to make changes (unlikely i know) he has no ****ing squad to choose from. Once again Sullivan has done just enough to ...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
We couldn't get Ings to work against Fulham, against whom we at least had a chance of having a fair share of possession; surely even Moyes sees that he'd be a complete waste of time against Leverkusen who had 73% possession on Thursday. When we have to chase the game, surely.not even he is going to...

Re: Five Countries
South Africa is by far the best country I have ever visited. Can't recommend it high enough. Wonderful climate delicious food, that's great wherever you go and very friendly people. Can be a little dodgy at night, although I never had any problems and I include Pretoria and Johannesburg in that

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Belgian media has us linked with Amoura attacker at Union and Debast central defender at Anderlecht.( 15 million Euros each) Amoura started like a rocket but his form has dropped , can play on the left to. Could inject pace, we need that. Debast young and really good footballer , but defensivly mak...

Re: Midweek Games April 9-11
Shoukd imagine many Everton fans will be leaving at half time. You can't blame them if they do, it is chastening experience to follow your club and then see your team getting smashed

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Not advocating we sign him, coz people who have seen him have said, hes no more than League standard, so I cant dispute that, but I have just read that Harrison Burrows of Peterborough United has just won League 1 player of the year award. This repirt from today's ,'Sun' also says hes a great lad too

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
Bowen confirmed out. Our chances of qualifying are now less than 1% That is not good news. We must, however, still have to be upbeat about our chances, but without two of our main talismen, this does make our chances of progressing doubly difficult If we still make it through to the semi's now, it ...

Would you take Mourinho? Frank McAvennie thinks we should, citing he would sort our defence out and on that, he does have a point
