Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

The ref will play a big part tonight. This bald, biased towards English club ref, Senor Jose Maria Sanchez, is renowned for being a bit of a 'homer'

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Looking forward for this been bought a ticket for my birthday and can't wait. It's my first European game so excited. If we can nick that first goal and turn the stadium into a caldron of noise we might well win. Hope it does not got to penalties as up at 5 on Friday for work. COYI :hamm: I hope we...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Weve come back from 2 goal defecits in Europe before, as have many other clubs. This is doable and despite tgeur unbeaten season, I still don't think this Leverkusen team is all that special

Re: Late David Gold, Sullivan and Brady

Yes mate I posted an article from a newspaper (can’t remember which one) at the time Bonkers isn’t it that someone of that age with those business interests hadn’t organised a will It's ****ing unbelieveable really, yet why is it, I wasn't all that surprised? One wonders whether Sullivan has too. I...

Re: Migrants crossing the Channel

I got a letter from Rishi Sunak this morning asking my opinion on what we should do woith our boat people. I replied send them all to either, Pitcairn, St Helena, South Georgia or Tristan de Cunha. That way, technically they are not leaviing the UK. I think he will consider that a good idea that he ...

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-

I've just received a letter this morning from Rishi. If you haven't had one yet, you will get one. Every household throughout the country will receive it. This tells me, he is doing a personal survey to guage the political barometer, which should provide a more accurate guide to voting intentions th...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

I've seen big European nights at Anfield when Liverpool have taken a bit of a mauling in the first leg and have had to overturn quite big first leg deficits, but they were always in with a chance of success through sheer self belief and the Anfield crowd intimidating the other team. They have done i...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Im not saying they would have won but the fact that they got rid of two perfectly adequate midfielders and bought no one is a big part of why they will go out. Even if Moyes wanted to make changes (unlikely i know) he has no ****ing squad to choose from. Once again Sullivan has done just enough to ...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

We couldn't get Ings to work against Fulham, against whom we at least had a chance of having a fair share of possession; surely even Moyes sees that he'd be a complete waste of time against Leverkusen who had 73% possession on Thursday. When we have to chase the game, surely.not even he is going to...

South Africa is by far the best country I have ever visited. Can't recommend it high enough. Wonderful climate delicious food, that's great wherever you go and very friendly people. Can be a little dodgy at night, although I never had any problems and I include Pretoria and Johannesburg in that

Belgian media has us linked with Amoura attacker at Union and Debast central defender at Anderlecht.( 15 million Euros each) Amoura started like a rocket but his form has dropped , can play on the left to. Could inject pace, we need that. Debast young and really good footballer , but defensivly mak...
