Re: Does anybody know someone that does airport transfers?

£40 per adult there and £40 back if my maths are good? I’d imagine cab firms have set fares for airport runs so if they’re all about the same price then it may be the going rate now.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I never had a 'someone' to listen to all my bs about my problems, friends always came and went, the stage where I have no friends for a while is the toughest one for me, also don't even talk about family cause they are the reason I want to talk to someone else in the first place... Either way I'm m...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I’m fortunate I have several good male friends to talk to about these things as they’ve all been through it themselves but a wider perspective is great too.

I can only get the Welsh language commentary for Wales v Poland and am struggling to stay awake. Win or lose I’m straight to bed at full time.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

hope those wine gums are the non alcoholic ones Jim !!!!!! :crylol: Non vegetarian! As I’m more about it for health than animal rights then it’s sort of ok. I’m trying to rest as much as possible today so I can sit up and watch Wales v Poland tonight. I was in agony for the Finland match but could ...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Mind how you go Jim. :newthumb: Reversal was always going to be less brutal than the original surgery. I’m just constantly shattered. My local taxi firm are app based so I can always use them if I feel stranded. If anything, I need to start building my strength up day by day. I constantly improved ...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I decided a taxi to Asda and one back today as I needed things and all their delivery slots were booked. I ended up walking there and back against my initial thoughts and survived! I’m horizontal at the moment but it’s all good.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

For anyone worried by my last post, I had part of my bowel cut away in September 2022 and then a colostomy bag fitted. I was in surgery on Monday for reversal.

Have to say a number of chaps on here kept me going during some very dark days.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I’m yet to be given anything official but I should be looking at discharge as early as today. I’m absolutely drained but as it was reversal then I’m over the very worst.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

My five hour op was 100% successful and they’ve no concerns at all. I’m shattered but it’s worth it so far.

Thanks for the support!

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I’m going under the knife today to have 2022’s life saving ileostomy reversed. I think I’ve changed my last colostomy bag this morning.

This thread was hugely important to me when I fell ill so please do keep me in your thoughts for the next few days. I’ll update as and when.

South Wales Derby here. I really hate Cardiff so I hope Swansea smash them.

And Dulwich sounds beyond parody.

Some comeback from Cardiff winning 2-1 at the death! Like I said… competitive. No VAR either.
