Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

But on the other hand it doesn’t seem to be the manager of 4 1/2 years fault that the squad hasn’t been better built. He does genuinely seem to be exempt of all the blame with the squad building. Of course he has overall responsibility and isn’t blameless, but the vitriol towards the manager for th...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Its about blaming Moyes As for Scammaca, Dusseldorf posted constantly about his issues last season, which seemed to be supported by the national managers comments about him and his playstation Honestly Ozza, you shouldn’t bother. The reaction by some to last night has truly shocked me, and I really...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

literally 2 italians in the starting eleven besides him! :crylol: joking aside, I'll die on the hill that, even more than with haller, the way we misused scamacca was borderline criminal. Scamacca didn’t want to play for the club from the very first day he arrived In fact he didn’t even want to sig...

Would you rather we went toe to toe against quite comfortably the best football team we’ve faced in possibly decades?

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

The January window has totally screwed us. I doubt we will see Phillips in a West Ham shirt again. Praying for a miracle over the next week with so few options available. Our lack of activity in the Jan window and the subsequent sales of both Benrahma & Fornals are the main reason why our manag...

Re: Anything nice to say about Millwall?

Like a few have already said, as people and as a fan base we are more alike with Millwall than any other club in my opinion. Working class Londoners in the main, pretty street wise and can give as good as we/they get. Most of my closest life long friends are Wall, and I’d trust each of them with my ...

Just started Billy The Kid on Prime, same director/writer as Vikings, half hour into the first episode of two seasons and I think it could be a gem of a series in the same way Vikings was

Re: What did you watch last night?

:newthumb: Yep, we watched it over 3 days, watched the last 4 on the bounce with only a breather between 5 and 6. I don't know to what degree the representation of the LDS movement was accurate but blimey it was disturbing. First class TV. The actual crimes you see actually happened to those named ...

Re: What did you watch last night?

Under the Banner of Heaven, ITVX

Based on a true story, really well made. 7 episodes ad it builds really nicely, then from episode 5 you just literally find yourself holding your breath

Fantastic tv, highly recommended

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

Saturday's match broke me. I was still ****ed off with the Areola pen vs Sheff Utd, the handball 'pen' vs Burnley and the ridiculous VAR delays vs Villa. I've got **** all interest in tonight's match. Sat was a VAR/reffing incident too far for me. Football is just ****ing **** right now and we've u...

Re: Declan Rice

I for one was really happy to see Dec with the England captains armband on. Proud to have seen him grow as a man and player in a West Ham shirt. Just a personal opinion but I think it’s wrong that a player who played 3 games for another Nation goes on to captain the country of my birth. It’s the ul...

Re: Sam's ear

My understanding has always been that despite being 4th at Christmas, the board refused to back Sam in the January window, which was criminal, so Sam 'checked out' hence the terrible second half of the season. This is exactly what happened He was told we had youth players ready and able to step up....

Club give away thousands of tickets a week to local schools, small businesses etc, part of the deal with Newham Which is a good thing by the way, but obviously never ever spoken of by the club when claiming we have a constantly sold out stadium 3 years ago I had 75 tickets to a game that I literally...

Re: Declan Rice

Tapped up by arsenal/arteta and then undersold, today and the whole season has shown he was worth much more than £105m. Chelsea and Liverpool were both willing to pay £120m for Caicedo. There should have been a bidding war between Chelsea, liverpool, both Manchester clubs and arsenal. But no we wer...

Re: Ben Johnson

I recall there being gossip about Ravel and the finger being pointed at Allardyce. I guess given he's not around any more that story needs re-evaluating. The thing is, at the time that was used as a stick to beat SA with, when what actually took place was SA wanting to get an impressionable young m...
