Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I like Pellegrini, but I do think he is making some poor decisions at the monent. He doesn't seem to appreciate the importance of having some pace in the side. Makes no sense to drop Fredericks and take off Anderson when we are already missing the pace of Antonio. Makes us too pedestrian and we wast...

Please don't be true! Thought we would finally be moving on from blindly hoping AC can suddenly stay fit after years of wasting a place in our squad.

I am a claret member but have not received my card yet so unsure how they will load it to it and how I get in if I dont have a card but have paid for the ticket ? have other members received their cards yet ? Nope, I haven't received mine yet (and they haven't replied to an email I sent 2 days ago ...

Re: West Ham United vs Chelsea: Match Thread

Brilliant point and one I certainly wasn't expecting (I predicted a 4-0 defeat before kickoff). Hopefully we can kick on from here, but in all honestly I expect us to lose on Saturday.

Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread

I honestly would not fault Allardyce there. I'm far from his biggest fan, but we played well in the first time and we didn't hoof it. I thought we were a bit unlucky for the second and fourth goals and we could maybe have defended a bit better. But I have to say I think that it kind of was the fans ...

Re: Coventry City v West Ham Utd: match thread

really can't understand why BFS insists on playing Baldock out wide when it is so obvious to everyone else that he seems to play much better when he has another striker to link up with through the centre. Also cannot believe that Cole is left on the bench when he was the game changer at Hull. Call m...

will be a shame if we sell barerra at a loss now, thought he could possibly do a job in the championship. Just nervously waiting for Nolan to be officially announced now! Cheers CH

I will not be happy if we let parker go to spurs. Especially if its not for a very large sum of money. As much as I think that the diouf stuff is just paper talk, I have to admit, Im still getting slightly worried about it!

Oh my god! I would rather eat my own **** than have Diouf at west ham. One of the most horrible people in football by far. I think it is probably just a load of made up crap. No quotes or anything, so lets just hope it is! If he does sign though, I will be disgusted.

undecided. Early on i was against fat sam, due to his reputation as a long ball merchant, but he has said he will try and play propper football. If we play some decent football and he makes us a harder team to beat and gets us winning I will be a happy man. So Ill give him a fair chance. If we play ...

Re: Manager XIV [POLL Two]

Wouldnt want Allardyce, purely because of his style of football. He could well be successfull at getting us back up, but success at what price? Curbs was booed when we finished mid table in the 2007 - 2008 season due to the style of football he played and it was nowhere near as bad as some of the fo...

Re: Manager XIV [POLL]

This pro-Allardyce thing just seems like a recipe for trouble and another quickly-sacked manager. If the results don't go exactly to plan, there's no way people are going to stick behind him for the long haul, and he certainly doesn't have the personality to win them back once this happens. I get t...
